Recirc High Level Solutions

-Check the final discharge side of sand filter pumps and that they functioning properly. Final side pumps always start with RP1. Verify which pumps are designated for the final side of the filter by checking the Wall Orientation settings at the bottom of the Settings-Pumps page.

-In cases where a recirc pump feeds sections of a hydrotek valve split between the recirc and final side of the filter, make sure that the springs within the hydrotek are still allowing the cam to ratchet properly. A bad spring can cause the same laterals to be dosed at every interval. It is possible that recirc pump could be stuck only dosing the recirc side of the filter.

-Inspect the Final OFF Time settings on the Settings-Recirc page. If your site does not receive HAWKOS tuning, then you may need to reduce the off times. The timers are:

  Final Hi Lvl Off Time-TFlt(min)         : Triggered by the Discharge High Level float kicking up or the Discharge level sensor reading a value greater than the Dis Hi Level-TFlt (in) setting found on the Settings-Discharge page.
  Final Medium Max Lvl Off Time (min)     : Defined as the "upper band" of the medium timer range.  This only applies to RSFs with discharge side ultrasonic level sensors.  Represents the high end of the off timer scale that is used when the water level resides between the Dis Hi Level-TFlt (in) and Dis Normal On Level-MFlt (in) values as set on the Settings-Discharge page.
  Final Medium Min Lvl Off Time (min)     : Defined as the "lower band" of the medium timer range.  This only applies to RSFs with discharge side ultrasonic level sensors.  Represents the low end of the off timer scale that is used when the water level resides between the Dis Hi Level-TFlt (in) and Dis Normal On Level-MFlt (in) values as set on the Settings-Discharge page.
  Final Normal Max Lvl Off Time (min)     : Defined as the "upper band" of the normal timer range.  This only applies to RSFs with discharge side ultrasonic level sensors.  Represents the high end of the off timer scale that is used when the water level resides between the Dis Normal On Level-MFlt (in) and Dis Normal Off Level (in) values as set on the Settings-Discharge page.
  Final Normal Min Lvl Off Time-MFlt(min) : Triggered by the Discharge Middle Level float kicking up  or the Discharge level sensor reading a value greater than the dis Normal On Level-MFlt (in) setting found on the Settings-Discharge page.  Defined as the "lower band" of the normal timer range. Represents the low end of the off timer scale that is used when the water level resides between the Dis Normal On Level-MFlt (in) and Dis Normal Off Level (in) values as set on the Settings-Discharge page.
